Out and About

We've enjoyed a few weekend getaways over the last few months, South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon and LL Stub Stewart State Park just an easy drive outside of Portland, Oregon. I can't say enough about how beautiful our State Park system is!

This next shot comes off the iPhone. Driving home from work I saw this dramatic rain curtain forming alongside the freeway. Pulling out the iPhone I flicked the camera on, pushed it up to the windshield and hit the trigger every few seconds. I had no idea what exactly I was capturing until I arrived home and looked back through the shots. So, here it is, the 65-miles-per-hour-through-the-windshield-one-handed-not-looking-just-an-iphone trick shot!
